Teulada Moraira Auditorium, Saturday, October 31, at 19hr. Concert by one of the best orchestras of Spain, the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia hosting the premiere in Spain of the piece “Legacy” Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra, the composer of Novelda (Alicante) Oscar Navarro winner Jerry Goldsmith for the documentary “Dreams of Salt” and “HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARDS” (Los Angeles) Award at the Classical Music section.
His film music has received numerous nominations among which include “X Music Awards Film Critics”, “Mundo BSO Awards”, and in February 2014 he was nominated for a Goya Award Spanish Film Academy with the BSO for the film “La Mula”.
The concert will be conducted by Francisco Maestre ( conductor of the Youth Orchestra of the Province of Alicante. First Prize in the World Competition of Youth Orchestras “Summa Cum Laude” in Vienna 2015). Oboe soloist, Ramon Ortega, considered one of the best in the world. At just 19, he won the First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich, one of the most prestigious in the world.
The program also includes works by Bizet “Carmen” and “Spanish Caprice”, Op.34 Rimsky-Korsakov, among others.
